Sort It Out is a professional home organizing company with a mission to support families. Our organizers bring a high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic to every job, starting from the very first day in a home. Organization experience is not required, but a plus.

Role Overview

As a Home Organizer, you will work as part of a team to deliver a thoughtful, high-touch organizing experience for our clients. Each project is unique, and you will help create systems that are tailored to each client’s lifestyle, routines, and needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Organizer and team to execute organizing projects

  • Follow project instructions and priorities provided by the team lead

  • Organize client homes room by room using Sort It Out systems and standards

  • Use company tools and platforms to communicate schedules, assignments, and updates (Connect Team for scheduling, QuickBooks Workforce for payroll)

  • Maintain a respectful, professional presence in clients’ homes at all times

What We're Looking For:

Strong Communication Skills

Home Organizers communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and team members. This includes receiving direction, asking thoughtful questions when needed, and providing timely updates to the team lead.

Team Player

This role involves working closely with other organizers on job sites. Successful candidates collaborate well with others, contribute positively to group dynamics, and value shared goals.

Self Motivated

Our Organizers are actively engaged in every task and anticipate how to make the most of their time to create value for the client. We are looking for someone who can independently find things to organize on a jobsite. 

Attention to Detail

A strong eye for detail is essential. Organizers are expected to notice small details and deliver polished, functional results that help clients feel supported and at ease in their homes.

Availability and Flexibility

We are looking for individuals who are available to work a flexible schedule depending on client demand. 

Physical Requirements
This role may require lifting, moving, and organizing household items. Candidates must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light physical tasks, including reaching overhead.
